The student handbook encompasses important information that a student needs to know when enrolling and engaging in studying with Response Learning Victoria. It outlines the commitment and obligations of Response Learning Victoria as a Registered Training Organisation, and the terms, conditions, and commitments required by a student enrolling at Response Learning.

Fees are payable through three methods:

  1. If your training program is delivered within your workplace, your fees are negotiated and paid most likely by your employer as an investment in your future with them, and/or

  2. Your fees may be partly or wholly funded by the Government (either State or Commonwealth), and/or

  3. You may be responsible for the payment of some or all of your fees yourself.

If you are unsure which fee arrangement your training falls under, please contact Response Learning Victoria or speak with your employer.

Unless otherwise advised in writing, fees:

  • will include a course Enrolment Fee of $200 for Certificate II level qualifications and $300 for Certificate III level,

  • cover the training manuals, handouts and assessment documentation disseminated throughout the training program by Response Learning Victoria,

  • do not cover the travel and accommodation costs of the training facilitator, unless incorporated into the total program costs with agreement by all parties (Fee for Service programs only),

  • do not include the cost of PPE, individual text books, stationary, tools or other individual items of equipment necessary for the course not supplied by Response Learning Victoria or your employer (you will be advised in advance if you need to supply anything yourself);

  • cover the reasonable provision of student services to assist in the learning process – such as support in the areas of language, literacy, numeracy and disability; where public funding is not accessed,

  • does not include costs related to referral to external support services

  • reflect the content of the course and the award, not the duration. No reduction in enrollment fees apply to earlier completions.

  • may be reduced if a participant is granted sufficient Recognition of Prior Learning or Credit Transfer on units within the qualification they are undertaking. Should you require a period greater than that stated in your training offer (Fee for Service programs only) to complete the course; you may be subject to additional fees (this would be through negotiation between all parties concerned).
